Hall of Fame

About the Hall of Fame

The NCMA Hall of Fame Committee was established for the purpose of honoring those who have made, or are making, significant contributions to the association, the automotive catalog field and the automotive aftermarket in general.

While selection to the Hall of Fame is intended to honor the people so chosen, it is also intended to be a recognition of distinguished service contributions to the continuance and growth of the NCMA. Therefore, the NCMA Distinguished Service Award was developed as a means of this recognition and hall of fame induction. A member must have reached a level or position of eminence from which the nature of his or her contribution may be judges in order to be awarded this highest honor.

Recommendations and selections for these awards are made annually. The recipients(s) are presented these awards during the Association’s annual conference in the spring of each year.

Evidence of induction into the NCMA Hall of Fame includes: A Distinguished Service Award plaque issued by the NCMA, presented to each person selected.  The inductee’s name is permanently displayed and recorded in the NCMA Hall of Fame Record. A monetary donation is made to the AAIA (Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association) scholarship fund in the inductee’s name, along with a token stipend given directly to each inductee.

Evidence of the Lifetime Achievement Award includes a permanent record in the NCMA archives, a plaque is issued by the NCMA to each honoree and a monetary donation is made to the AAIA scholarship fund in the honoree’s name.
